Dingle Peninsula is off the beaten track and shopping here is a gentle and soulful activity. Small workshops and galleries, boutiques with personality and a quirky mix of unusual stores will lift your heart. Follow our Craft and Gift Trail and meet the makers in their workshops and studios. Ramble Dingle's colourful streets and explore the Peninsula's many small villages. Step inside the delightful bijou shops and small stores of the area, find some treasure and meet some interesting characters. Shopping here is like starting a conversation, you will always find out something that you did not know.

Shopfronts

Much loved shopfronts often in historic buildings have been repurposed and adapted by their owners over the generations. This one on Main Street Dingle is no longer a shop but the owner still lovingly and creatively decorates the old shop window in themes throughout the year. A great question for a local is to ask the retail history of any older building.

Quirky Stores

In the true spirit of entrepreneurship many business owners have diversified over the years. The observant visitor will notice some unusual mixes such as the famous Foxy John’s in Dingle Town where you can buy nails and tools while sitting at a bar counter.
