Restaurants on the Dingle Peninsula
"tháinig mé ar bhialann álainn - I discovered a lovely restaurant"
In recent years Dingle Peninsula has become renowned as a food and drink destination with Dingle Town a past winner of the Irish Restaurant Award ‘Foodie Town of Ireland’ which recognised Dingle for great dining experiences, and an active food culture.
There is a wide variety of restaurants on the Peninsula with everything from very casual family restaurants to award winning gourmet dining experiences. Seafood is a speciality in this area with restaurants offering some of the best fresh fish and shellfish landed locally and cooked to perfection. Tender mountain reared lamb is another Dingle Peninsula favourite worth sampling - you won't be dissappointed.
Restaurants generally open from 6 - 11pm with some open for lunches mid-day and booking is recommended for evening service. Menus are displayed outside all restaurant premises.
