Now in our third year, our mission is to continue to offer a groundbreaking, dynamic and an inspiring festival to a wide and diverse audience - our local community and visitors. We are passionate about screening the best of Irish and international films that push boundaries and give new perspectives. Our vision is to screen films on the edge, at the edge of Europe. We offer a platform, educational space & networking opportunity for up-and-coming & established filmmakers and foster strong opportunities for local/Irish filmmakers to showcase their work & bring filmmakers to the area to enable/encourage sharing of ideas and collaboration. We also create real pathways to sustainable jobs in the film industry through our year-long filmmaking course. We also have films in Irish central to programming to honour and celebrate the Irish language in our unique position as the only film festival in a west Kerry Gaeltacht (Irish-speaking region).

Our festival includes screenings of Irish and International films, as well as fascinating talks and workshops with renowned film industry experts, in venues around the famous Dingle Peninsula - Dingle Skellig Hotel overlooking Dingle Bay and lighthouse located 5 minutes from Dingle town, An Díseart in the centre of Dingle surrounded by beautiful gardens, and in the Blasket Centre, looking out to the iconic Blasket Islands and west towards America.

Previous Guests include Hollywood Casting Director Ros Hubbard (Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, The Bourne Series, The Da Vinci Code, Far and Away, The Commitments),
Producer Ned Dowd (Last of the Mohicans, Apocalypto, Wonder Boys, GI Jane), Producer Winston Azzopardi (Gladiator 2, Napoleon, Murder on the Orient Express), Academy Award-winning Director/Screenwriter/Editor John Sayles
