West of Dingle

Details

Welcome to West of Dingle

We handharvest sea salt using the pristine waters off the rugged coast near Ballyferriter Village at a little cove called Cuas na nEigh on the Wild Atlantic Way.
We collect our sea water and bring it back to our Salty HQ where we make our sea salt and add our unique flavours.
Over 200 years ago Sea Salt was produced on the Dingle Peninsula using salt pans and fire evaporation. At West of Dingle we are reviving the old handharvesting traditions of long ago to produce something new, contempory and very special.
We look to our community and the landscape around us to help us craft our range. Community connection is really important to us, from the people we work with to the people we sell to, and everyone in between. We value each and every interaction and believe it's this connection that makes our sea salt so darn good. Unrefined and naturally pure, we're changing the game in sea salt with our wild and wonderful sea salt flavours!
West of Dingle is a multi-award winning family business, founded in 2021 by Marie and Brian.
Our products can be purchased in, Louis Mulcahy Pottery, Siopa Uí Lúing, Juice for Thought, My Boy Blue, The Dingle Butcher, O Cathain Iasc, Garveys Supervalu and Horans healtfood store.
