Cloghane Brandon Walking and Music Festival: April/Aibreán
Féile Sléibhteoireachta agus Ceoil Chlocháin Bhréanainn
11-13th April 2020

This unique festival takes place each year over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend in the villages of Cloghane Brandon, amongst the spectacular views of Mount Brandon and its surroundings.

The festival offers a wide range of hillwalking activities to suit everyone. The more experienced walkers who would like a challenge can navigate Mount Brandon and Más an Tiompáin. Those looking for more moderate walks will get to enjoy the Sás Creek to Brandon Point loop walk as well as the Connor Pass to Mullach walk, where the beauty of Cloghane Brandon can truly be seen. The walk to Loch an Duin is not to be missed for any archaeology lover. Families will have the opportunity to walk the Fairy Glade in Cloghane & mindful walks will also take place, on both the Saturday & Sunday.

Why should you attend this festival? This is a festival not to be missed. The festival has something for everyone; families, walkers and music lovers will get to appreciate and enjoy the beauty of the area while also getting to explore the wildlife and culture that exists in this small West Kerry region. There will also be a chance to learn about history and archaeology on many of the walks. People who attend will have the chance to practice their Irish in the Gaeltacht and above all have the craic with locals and visitors! There will also be lots of music to be enjoyed throughout the weekend.
