Cáis serves up artisan grilled cheese toasties with the best quality Irish cheese and sourdough bread from Bacús Bakery in Dick Mack's Food Yard, Dingle town. Our menu changing seasonally and each taostie is served with a homemade pickle.
Born, bread and buttered in West Kerry, Ann and Sinead are passionate about brining you the best grilled cheese toastie and all things Irish dairy. Sinead is a culinary artist with a masters in Irish Food Culture and Heritage. Ann has business background and her father is a sheep farmer along the Slea Head drive. Both are local women fluent in Irish and love introducing people to Irish and creating a Gaeltacht experience. They have an extensive knowledge of the area, so feel free to ask them for recomendations not just on the peninsula but around the whole country.
Nestled in the back of the famous pub Dick Mack's and right in the heart of Dingle town, you will find the Cáis Food Truck. Cáis have created a yard with a chilled atmosphere and where locals and tourists hang out. Our aim is to make an impact on Irish dairy and create an unforgettable dining experience.
Cáis food truck in Dick Mack’s Food Yard are now introducing “Cáis Mezze boxes” at home. A beautifully presented selection of Irish cheeses and charcuterie, seasonal fruit and veg, olives, hummus and crackers. Boxes catering for 2-4 people are €45 and large boxes 4-6 people are €65. Enjoy as an appetiser or an evening of grazing at home.
