The Dingle Peninsula is a place of spectacular seascapes and landscapes shaped by the elements, with a wild and rugged coastline of steep cliffs and wide sandy beaches where one can drive up into the clouds over Ireland’s highest mountain pass, the Connor Pass.
The Dingle Peninsula is a place the Irish love to visit, but it’s still largely undiscovered by people from elsewhere. Apart, that is, from the artists, musicians and writers who come from across the world to live, eat and breathe authentic culture: real food, real talk, real stories, and real ceoil agus craic at music sessions and festivals across the peninsula’s tiny settlements. It’s a long way to come, but it’s here that you’ll find the real Ireland: in the Peninsula’s thriving and unbroken traditions of language and music, folklore and storytelling, arts, crafts and artisanal food.
Destination Dingle Peninsula has been developed by Kerry County Council in association with Dingle Peninsula Tourism and is supported by Fáilte Ireland.
It provides a comprehensive listing of all your tourism needs providing detailed information on places of interest as well as map routing. It also enables the user to contact places of interest easily by phone, e-mail etc. The ‘My Plan’ feature allows the user to bookmark places of interest in advance of travelling for ease of access when the need arises.

Kerry County Council and Dingle Peninsula Tourism have collaborated to develop a Dingle Peninsula mobile application (APP). The vision for this ‘APP’ is to be both a holiday planner and holiday guide for tourists to the area thereby enhancing ones tourism experience within the peninsula as a whole.
