Even if you have never stood on a surf board before our experienced surf instructors will get you out in the Atlantic Ocean surf catching waves. They have taught visitors from all over the world to surf on the spectacular beaches of the Dingle Peninsula. Wetsuits and equipment are provided and all you have to bring is your enthusiasm. Jamie Knox Surf School run surf classes every day during the summer months in the Maharees. Their surf lessons cater to all levels of ability, fitness and age. Fully qualified instructors - Irish Surf Association Recognised.

The Louis Mulcahy Workshop Tour offers the visitor an opportunity to see how each piece of their distinctive pottery is made from start to finish. Each method of production – from throwing, casting, jigger and jolly to hand building are explained and demonstrated in detail. The glazing, decorating and firing process are also explained.

Create your own pot with the guidance of an experienced potter at Louis Mulcahy's famous pottery workshop near Ballyferriter. With expert help on hand you will learn how to create your own little pot, beaker or small vase. The experience is fun, educational and is suitable for young and old. You can bring the raw pot you have created home with you or if you prefer you can leave it to be dried, glazed and posted to you at a later stage by the Louis Mulcahy team.

Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne, based in Baile an Fheirtéaraigh (Ballyferriter, Co. Kerry) is in existence since 1980. Through various activities, publications and projects, including a regional museum, they promote and maintain the very rich linguistic, archaeological and cultural heritage of Corca Dhuibhne.

Coláistí Chorca Dhuibhne run immersive Irish courses for School Students & Trainee Teachers on the Dingle Peninsula. In the early summer, school students from all around Ireland stay for three week-long Colaistí Samhraidh or Summer Language Colleges.

CFLT (Comharchumann Forbartha an Leith Triúigh Teoranta) in Cloghane and Brandon run a series of Irish language-related courses and activities for adults, teenagers and families. They also provide a range of fun activities to keep children occupied allowing them to sample the Irish language in a relaxed environment – these facilities are offered through the Campa Samhraidh Summer Camp.
